What Happens on a Service Call?

A service call starts with a diagnostic: the technician inspects and measures until the fault is identified, then quotes the repair before doing it. You approve the price first. The diagnostic fee is flat and known before we arrive, so nothing on the invoice is a surprise.

Before the visit

We confirm the appointment window and what we know about the symptom. Clear a path to the equipment, secure pets, and make sure someone over eighteen will be home to approve any work.

During the visit

The order rarely changes, because diagnosing before quoting is the point.

  • Technician confirms the symptom with you
  • Diagnostic inspection and measurement
  • Findings explained in plain language, including what is not wrong
  • Repair quoted, with options where options exist
  • You approve, then the repair happens
  • System tested and readings recorded

After the visit

You get an invoice itemising the diagnostic and the repair, notes on anything worth watching, and an honest answer on remaining lifespan if you ask. If we think replacement is coming, we say so with a timeframe rather than pressuring you that day.

Why You Can Trust This

We are family owned and have worked the Fraser Valley since 1986. No call centre, no commissioned salespeople riding along on service calls.
