Outdoor Gas Fireplaces and Fire Features

An outdoor gas fireplace or fire table gives you controlled heat and a real flame without wood, smoke or ash, and extends patio season well into the wet Fraser Valley shoulder months. We help you choose a unit sized for the space, handle the gas supply and venting details, and set clearances to combustible materials such as siding, fences and deck railings so the installation is safe and code-compliant. We also service and repair existing outdoor fireplaces and inserts, including ignition, valve and burner issues.

BBQ Grills and Outdoor Kitchens

We supply, assemble and connect high-performance gas grills and outdoor cooking equipment, including natural gas models that never need a propane refill. For homeowners building a full outdoor kitchen, we plan the gas line route, size the pipe so the grill and side burners get adequate pressure, install shut-off valves and pressure test the line before the first cook. Built-in grill heads, outdoor ovens and side burners are set into non-combustible framing to the manufacturer's clearance requirements.

Natural Gas Lines for Patios and Decks

Running a dedicated natural gas line to the patio is the step that makes everything else possible. We tap the supply at your meter, route the line above or below grade to code, install quick-connect fittings where you want them and coordinate the gas permit and inspection through Technical Safety BC. If a line already exists, we can extend or modify it for new equipment.

Repairs, Seasonal Service and Storage

Outdoor equipment lives a hard life in our climate. Winter rain is the biggest enemy of grills and fire features, and spiders and insects nest in burner tubes over the off-season, causing uneven flames and flash-back. A spring service visit cleans burners and venturi tubes, checks ignition and leak-tests connections so the equipment is ready for the first warm weekend. We also advise on covers and storage for the wet months.

Permits and Safety

Any new or modified natural gas line in British Columbia requires a gas permit and inspection through Technical Safety BC. Our installers carry the licences to do this work and handle the permit process for you, which protects your home insurance and ensures the installation meets the clearance and venting rules that apply in Maple Ridge.
